Hey, FUB Stars!! We’re going to be diving into the automation platform today, going over how to trigger automation when a lead record is updated, specifically when a lead is reassigned. So this one is going to reapply a tag when a lead record is reassigned in Follow Up Boss. So we’re on our automation platform right now.

So we’re going here and select a trigger. Here are the different triggers we have available. So under people, we’re going to choose person updated. So after you choose person updated, it’s going to give you a list of fields on the lead record. And so this automation triggers when a specific field on the lead record is updated.

And I’m going to select. Assigned to, so I’m going to test the trigger. All right, so now we have a lead pulled in and what we want to do is apply a tag. I’m going to back up here and if you want to trigger automation, if it’s reassigned to a specific person, you can do a filter. And so we would do assigned to, equals

and then the agent you want to trigger the automation when it’s reassigned to that agent. For this one, I’m not going to put a filter in. This will just trigger anytime a lead is reassigned.

And now you get on here and the actions we have available are applying a tag. If you wanted to trigger an action plan, when something’s reassigned, you can do that. I’m just going to do set tag. And now Tag name, we’re going to do, person reassign. All right, now I’m going to test.

All right. Now I’m going to go ahead and save the workflow and then turn on the workflow. Now we’re going to come over to Follow Up Boss and we’re going to reassign this lead.

And now we’ve got our person reassign tag. Obviously you can trigger Zapier automation if a tag is applied. You can trigger action plans through our system. And so this opens up a lot of capabilities of triggering automation. Anytime the leads reassigned, you can use the updated person on any field, though.

So, if the stage has changed, if a source has changed, if you want to track, if people are changing sources, you can do that. You know, possibilities are endless. So that’s our person reassigned automation trigger. A lot more automation trigger videos to come. Thank you!!

Hey, FUB Stars!! Got another awesome automation video for you here. This one, we’re going to go ahead and trigger automation when a deal field is updated in Follow Up Boss. We have a field for all contingencies removed, and if that gets updated to yes, we’re going to trigger an action plan, to notify the client that the contingency has been removed.

We’re going to go ahead and get started. We’re going to. Select our trigger. here are all our different triggers. So we want to go down to deal triggers and deal updated. now we select the field we want to update from. So we’re going to go down and find all contingencies removed. There we go.

All contingencies removed. Done. Now we’re going to test. All right. So now we have our test data. so we want to come down here and filter for, so all contingencies removed. We want to, well, yes.

All right. And now for the action. We are going to trigger Apply an action plan and we’re going to apply the all contingencies removed action plan test.

I’m going to save and turn it on. So now we’re going to go over to Follow Up Boss and we have a deal here. So we go to the deal, show custom fields, all contingencies removed. Yes. And now the all contingency or moved action plan automatically runs and email gets sent to client letting them know contingencies have been removed. So possibilities with this are limitless. Any field can be used to trigger automation either on the deal or also on the person. Over time, we’re going to be adding all the Follow Up Bosses, web hooks in as triggers for automation.
